The Lady Elizabeth is set during the reign of 4 English monarchs - Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth herself. It tell you how her childhood shaped her as a monarch, like the reasons she never wanted to marry and have go through childbirth, her views on men & family life have been distorted by her relationship with two different men, her father & the man she fall in love with at a young age. Elizabeth's relationships with her step mother's and how each one shaped her and her beliefs in her faith and her close relationship with her companion who tells her stories of her mother and how amazing and beautiful she was. Elizabeth goes through so much for someone so young. How will the things of her childhood shape her future.

The Lady Elizabeth was one of those books that i read and couldn't believe i hadn't picked up sooner, it made me laugh cry and my jaw drop, there were twist and turns from the facts that we know and brilliant little bits added here and there like a shadow and relationships that never should have happened, Elizabeth is such a strong female character definitely holding on to the values that the real Elizabeth I held on tightly to. The Lady Elizabeth was a very good book, i highly suggest you give this book a try, It was a very interesting take on The Virgin Queen.I really don't want to say too much because most of it you can find on google because it is history then you have the little bits that really make the book excellent.

Until Next Time
Happy Reading
