Aideen - L.A Casey - Spoiler Free Review

Title - Aideen
Author - L.A Casey
Series - The Slater Brothers #3.5
Genre - New Adult > Romance
My Copy - Purchased
Format - Kindle
Where You Can Find It - Goodreads - Barnes & Noble - Book Depository - Amazon UK - Amazon US

***WARNING***

Do not read this review if you haven't read Kane because it will spoil you i mean the cover already pretty much does that.

The Moment the entire Slater family have been waiting for since it was announced that Aideen was pregnant, its time for Baby Slater to make His/Her entrance but it obviously has to be in the most dramatic way possible.
With Kane out helping Ryder with some shady Shite. Aideen must rely on the remaining Slater boys to help her through. Will Kane get back in time to see his baby born? and can Aideen ever forgive him for making her go through it alone?.

What a brilliant built up to The next book Ryder that is coming out Next Month (Feb 2016) it had everything in this novella, Friendship, love, family, angst, angry Irish women...definitely on Parr with Kane in my opinion Ryder will have to be exceptional to beat this book I'm my mind but i have very high hopes since over the past  books and novellas Ryder and Brenna's Relationship has built and the problems have gotten worse and worse it will be exciting to see the conclusion.
We also get to see the Slater boys around a baby and that pretty much would make any woman's ovaries burst.

Kane - L.A Casey - Spoiler Free Review

Title - Kane
Author - L.A Casey
Series - The Slater Brothers #3

My Copy - Purchased
Format - Kindle
Genre - New Adult > Romance
Where You Can Find It - Goodreads - Barnes & Noble - Book Depository - Amazon UK - Amazon US

Kane is the most damaged of the Slater Brothers but when Aideen meets him, she doesn't see the scary big scarred guy,she just sees someone she can have fun arguing with. But when that arguing ends with them in bed together they must deal with the consequences.
On top of everything else Kane is diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and he must have injections twice a day and he wont let anyone but Aideen do them so they are about to be seeing a lot more of each other then they originally planned. And when Kane's old boos comes to town he must protect Aideen, and his family especially since Big Phil is out for blood and he will use anyone to get it.

Kane was probably my favourite in the series so far, Aideen was such a funny and brilliant narrator and Kane is just so different from the other Slater Boys except maybe Damien he is a tourchered soul (literally) and dealing with the fact he is going to be responsible for another life but he is such an amazing character to read about because you can see and feel his pain and vulnerability through Aideen's eyes. You see then grow as enemy's, friends and lovers you fall in love with their story and it will pull at your heartstrings and give you all kinds of feels especially that ending.

Keela - L.A Casey Spoiler Free Review

Series - Slater Brothers #2.5
ISBN - 9781507553190

Keela & Alec are moving in together, but does she really want to. Its all moving too fast after getting engaged after a couple of weeks of meeting along with the nightmares she is suffering she feels trapped and closed in. When the girls all take a pregnancy test and they get mixed up every one is freaked out when one comes out positive. Who is Pregnant?, and can Kella tell Alec how she feels before she cracks or will she suffer in silence?

This was different from the previous book because this novella is all about the main character needing to heal. It was very cute and emotional but not overly so again i gave it 4 stars because something was missing i feel if it just had that extra bit of umph it would have been perfection.

Kella is a soft spoken loner who loves her dog & her best friend Aideen, when she gets a call in the middle of the night from a guy who is using Aideens phone saying Aideen needs her because she had been jumped. Its there she meets Alec who is just saying dirty comments, left, right and centre. But then Keela gets the wedding invitation she has been dreading, her Ex is marrying her cousin and she needs a date. Aideen "helpfully" suggests that she should use ex escort Alec, so she is going to have to swallow her pride and ask him. He only has one rule don't fall in love, she has no problem with that. Spending a week in the Bahamas things heat up especially when Alec's old book is also a guest at the wedding, with Keela's uncle involved as well he will have to do things he hates to save his brothers lives again.

Alec was really good, i really related to Keela i don't know if most will but like Keela when it comes to people i would rather pend it with my Baby ( My 6yr old Rottweiler called Roxy.)

Alec was a laugh out loud book, it was funny, sweet, sexy, angst, and full of emotion you get most of the characters from Dominic and Bronagh it takes place 3 years after Dominic and 1 day after Bronagh. As a character Alec was a lot less possessive then Dominic he was also a lot more complex because of the work he used to do and how it keeps coming back. Its really good to see how much Keela grows over the book she goes from this shy girl to a confident woman and i really like books like that where you can actually see the character grow. I gave this book 4 flags because there was just something missing i still cant put my finger on it, but that is why it didn't get 5 flags

ISBN - 9781500850395

Genre - New Adult > Romance

It is 3 years after the events in Dominic and today is Bronagh's 21st Birthday, Dominic has some surprises for her but she has to work for them like rock climbing and bowling but when you are around the Slaters nothing ever goes smoothly.

Bronagh was a funny novella and a lovely compliment to Dominic as it was just so cute and fluffy and even made me tear up a little bit. I loved reading about Bronagh and Dominic again even though i read this only two days after reading Dominic but i actually missed them the characters of this series have clawed their way into my heart in a very short amount of time i am now stuck with this series until it ends in however many years.

L.A Casey has a way of writing that draws you in and makes you want to read more and devourer every last one of them not to mention you will probably be saying "Fecking Eejit" for a while after i was.

*** WARNING ***

I am just going to say before i start that some people will not like this book because Dominic is a possessive idiot and Bronagh is a foul mouthed stubborn cow most of the time
I had to get that out of the way before i say anything else otherwise people who don't like that sort of thing will waste their time reading a review of something they will never read.
Bronagh hates Dominic he is a cocky, arrogant arsehole who thinks the world shines out of his arse. But when he pushes her too far she vows never to see or speak to him again but that gets a little difficult when she finds out her older sister and guardian is dating Dominic's older brother, and that means she cant avoid him. When the Slater brothers past catches up with them in Dublin, will Bronagh get caught in the cross-fire, and can they ever get over the lie, teasing, and name calling or will they just fizzle out before they even begin.
In the beginning i thought this would be from Dominic's POV because its his name on the cover but when i started reading and saw that it was Bronagh i wasn't too disappointed but at the same time i wouldn't have minded seeing some thing from his POV. I really enjoyed reading from an Irish persons POV because the author writes things how an Irish person or someone from Dublin would usually talk like saying me instead of my, and the word idiot is Eejit. I liked this book i mean it could have been better in parts but you can say that about 99% of books now a days, but if i was going to compare it to anything i would compare it to Jamie McGuire's Beautiful and Maddox Brothers series because they are very similar, but then there are the differences that change everything and you can suddenly see them as two different series then comparing them. After finishing this book i brought the next book and also the first novella of this series, it is going to be a long series 3 books are currently out and there is still 3 more to come as well as two more novellas so i cant wait to see where this series goes.
