Jonte Williamson has a dream: become Nashville’s next big star. Finding herself unexpectedly homeless hot off the plane wasn’t part of her grand plan.

Cash Bellini is a simple man: he loves his twin sister, Dolly, hates country music, and stays far away from anything more complicated than that.
When Jonte stumbles into Cash’s bar, helping out the homeless country music wannabe is the last thing on his agenda. Pity someone forgot to send the memo to his too-big heart and meddling twin. Throw in a pair of baby blue cowboy boots, a pool table and a splash of tequila, and these two are set to ignite in a hot sexy mess! Will either of their hearts survive the tug-o-war between what they want and what they need?

I requested this book as soon as i read the description, i am a huge fan of country music and the fact that this is a series set in the heart of country music, Nashville, Tennessee i was so excited to start this book and it didn't disappoint.

The story rocked, literally, it was an amazing story from the very first page to the last and i loved the story because its so true to life so many people do it so many people drop everything and move to Nashville to start a career in country music and you meet so many people and find people that you never thought you would end up with in the end. It also wasn't without its angst but it had just the right amount and everything was in balance and it was a brilliant story and i cant wait for the next book in the series and for a debut novel it was truly amazing.

The characters were some of the best in a debut novel i have read in a while, and Jonte (like Bronte but with a J) was such a strong female character she moved halfway round the world and had to stand up to her family and try to live in Nashville when everything goes wrong. Cash is a strong character but in a complacently different way, he goes through so much during the course of this book and we see him grow stronger and stronger and it makes you root for him and his family as well, because with Dolly is twin sister and Nannie it made me so happy, to have a cast of characters that not one of them was bad and they all made the book an experience.

I really can't wait to read the rest of this series and go back to magical setting of Nashville, and delve back into these characters, i really recommend this book it is such an enjoyable read.

Willa can’t erase the bad decisions of her past that led her down the path she’s on now. But she can fight for forgiveness from her family. And she can protect herself by refusing to let anyone else get close to her.

High school quarterback and town golden boy Brady used to be the best of friends with Willa—she even had a crush on him when they were kids. But that’s all changed now: her life choices have made her a different person from the girl he used to know.
Gunner used to be friends with Willa and Brady, too. He too is larger than life and a high school football star—not to mention that his family basically owns the town of Lawton. He loves his life, and doesn’t care about anyone except himself. But Willa is the exception—and he understands the girl she’s become in a way no one else can.
As secrets come to light and hearts are broken, these former childhood friends must face the truth about growing up and falling in love…even if it means losing each other forever.
I actually have two copies of this book i ended up buying this book on my kindle and had the physical book on pre order but that came on the Thursday but i read it on my kindle on the Tuesday. Confused yet, so am i. I am glad i brought this on my kindle because it meant i could read it when it came out and i was so looking forward to this book, but it wasn't as good as the first, this one had a lot more family drama and craziness.

The story in Under The Lights is very different from the first this one was more drama related than the first one which was more about healing and loss, I'm not saying this story is worse because of that but i am saying it doesn't hold up for me emotionally where the first book hit me so hard this was a lot like other YA Contemporaries.
The story flowed well, and it was an extremely enjoyable read one that i devoured in one sitting. I also hope we have seen something for the future because i am 100% sure Riley is going to have a book and hopefully its the next book because i just cant wait to hear her story.

This was a little bit of a love triangle and i have really gone off those, but the characters in the Love triangle Willa, Brady, and Gunner and then we also have Nanna and all of the supporting characters who bring so much be it bad or good every character brought something to the book and that is one thing i love about Glines' books the characters always make the book 10 times better.

I cant wait for the next book, i am guessing it will be out next August since so far both books have been released in August of successive years. and i really hope its about Riley and someone that i cant say because it will spoil the book, but i think that one will definitely go back to the emotional stuff.

While none of them are strangers to loss, the family has grown, and the risk is higher than ever. With brothers against brothers and wives taking sides, each member will make a choice—let the fear tear them apart, or make them stronger
I am going to give a disclaimer right now this may contain spoilers because it will be extremely difficult to talk about this book without talking about some aspects of it, but i will say if you read this book be prepared to sob uncontrollably .

I read this book in one sitting at midnight when it came out and i finished it and 3:21 am i stopped reading for like 5 minutes to watch Usain Bolt but i couldn't put this book down, i cried a lot during this book but it was such a bittersweet feeling because it was so good to read about these characters again but they aren't the same they all have their own problems i think the only ones who didn't was Tyler and Ellie so it was a bit of a turn around.

The character were the same but different, and that made me smile that at times you could see the old them shine through, i had one problem overall and that was Cami i loved her in Beautiful Oblivion but i actually didn't like her in this book with the way that she was acting, but we had some adorable children and Olive all grown up we also had some Hollis and Alyssa interaction. Jim as always was the strong patriarch and it was a beautiful book that gave these characters a second chance to shine as bright as they were meant to.

When i first started reading, i didn't know if i was going to like it because of how different it was and i felt like it might ruin the future i painted for them in my head, but it didn't i mean even now i am in a bit of denial and will never think about the last couple of chapters as cannon but that's just because i love a happy ending.

If you have read the other books in this series i highly recommend this book because it just wraps everything up and we get Maddox Children, if not read it just for the children because they are so cute. It was worth every single tear i shed at 3 am and i will read this book again and again just like the rest of the series.

Until Next Time
Happy Reading

Jasper - Tony Riches

Title - Jasper
Author - Tony Riches
Series - The Tudor Trilogy #2
ISBN - 9781530642625
Genre - Biographical Fiction

England 1461: The young King Edward of York has taken the country by force from King Henry VI of Lancaster. Sir Jasper Tudor, Earl of Pembroke, flees the massacre of his Welsh army at the Battle of Mortimer’s Cross and plans a rebellion to return his half-brother King Henry to the throne.
When King Henry is imprisoned by Edward in the Tower of London and murdered, Jasper escapes to Brittany with his young nephew, Henry Tudor. Then after the sudden death of King Edward and the mysterious disappearance of his sons, a new king, Edward’s brother Richard III takes the English Throne. With nothing but his wits and charm, Jasper sees his chance to make young Henry Tudor king with a daring and reckless invasion of England.

Set in the often brutal world of fifteenth century England, Wales, Scotland, France, Burgundy and Brittany, during the Wars of the Roses, this fast-paced story is one of courage and adventure, love and belief in the destiny of the Tudors.
I read the first book Owen a couple of months ago and i have been meaning to read this for a while but i wasn't sure i wanted to but i have been reading a lot about Henry Vii recently and now realise i need to read this book and i read this book in one sitting and didn't get to sleep till around three AM just because i needed to finish this book.

I loved every single character in this book there were so many but i loved most of them and i love the fact the the author doesn't by into the old stereotypes about the different characters because it is good to see something different. Jasper was very well written and you could just imagine this being the real Jasper Tudor and all of the characters added something to this book be it angst or love every single character was well written and none of them are forgettable.

This book is set in probably the most violent part of The Wars of the Roses so there is some violence and there is implied sex but you never actually read any which is surprising refreshing for a adult historical fiction. This book is set in so many places its hard to keep up its in England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Brittany, and France. The story flowed of the page and was written in a way that it felt like a film in my head and that is always an amazing experience when that happens. I highly, highly, recommend this series so far it seems that the books are getting better as they go one so i now have very high expectations for the third and final book Henry.

Undertaking Love - Kat French

When Marla Jacobs discovers that the shop next to her Little White Wedding Chapel is to become a funeral parlour, she declares all-out war.
Marla’s chapel in the sleepy Shropshire countryside has become a nation-wide sensation, but the arrival of Funeral Director Gabriel Ryan threatens everything Marla has worked for. She can picture the scene: wedding limos fighting for space in the street with hearses; brides bumping into widows; bouquets being swapped for wreaths.
Marla’s not going down without a fight. She enlists a motley crew of weird and wonderful local supporters, and battle lines are drawn. But, as soon as Marla meets her nemesis, she realises just how much trouble she’s really in. His rugged good looks and Irish lilt make her stomach fizz – how is she supposed to concentrate on destroying him, when half the time she’s struggling not to rip the shirt off his back?
I read this book in one sitting it had me laughing, crying, and swooning. It is one of those books that you think is going to take a couple of days to read then you start and cant stop, i only recently got into Kat French's novels but so far out of the two i have read this is my favourite, it hooked me from the very first page and i never wanted it to end.

Marla and Gabriel are two of the most opposite characters you will ever meet and that is why they just work with her Americanism's and his Irish Brogue set in the middle of the English country side, they both had their ups and their downs but they both weathered through, they both showed incredible strength through everything. And like in the other Kat French book i have read the cast of friends are just a riot they never fail to make you smile or make your jaw drop even if some of it was a tiny bit predictable at times but i really enjoyed it anyway. There were also some antagonists and they were very well written into the story and how they connected everything.

When i first started reading this book i had no idea how they would ever sort them selves out to end up in a relationship, it is a story of love, friendship, family and drama. A real page turner it is one of those books you cant put down it feels magical when you read it and when it is over all you want to do is read more from the author. It is such a odd concept that you would never think of having a funeral home next to a wedding chapel but it works as a concept because of the way it was written. I highly recommend this book it was a fun read that i will definitely re read when i feel like i need a boost in my life.

Tempt Me Like This - Bella Andre

Title - Tempt Me Like This
Author - Bella Andre
Series - The Morrison's #2
Genre - New Adult > Romance

Format - Kindle

As one of the biggest rock stars in the business, Drew Morrison can have anything—and anyone—he wants. Only Ashley Emmit, who has joined his tour to work on a college research project, is completely off-limits. Drew promised her father that, once the tour was over, he would send her home pure and untouched by the rock ’n’ roll world. But he has never been so tempted by anyone in his entire life. How is he going to make it through this tour without giving in to the urge to drag her into his arms and kiss her breathless?
Ashley has always lived by the rules. But from the moment she meets Drew, none of those rules make sense anymore. Not only does Drew’s music affect her deeply...but she’s never wanted to kiss anyone so badly. Not that a magnetic star like Drew would ever feel the same way about a brainiac like her, of course. And even if he did, she knows from painful experience that two people as different as they are simply don’t belong together.
But when the attraction between Drew and Ashley burns hotter every moment they’re together on the tour bus—and they begin to share their deeply hidden and emotional secrets—will either of them be able to resist temptation? Or could giving in to their feelings lead them straight toward a love they never saw coming...

So i read this book straight after finishing the first book in this series because Andre's writing is so addictive you just want to read more and more. I cant remember hearing about Drew in the Sullivan series until Every Beat of My Heart the novella that just came out, but i could be wrong it has been a while since i read the San Fran Sullivan's. This was the old story line of a guy who promises someone he will protect their loved one and then ends up falling in love with them and i am perfectly fine with that its a lot like the friends to lovers trope that i also love.

Drew and Ashley are my current favourites but i know when i read a series like this my favourites switch with each book. I loved the fact that Ashley grew so much she stood up for what she believed in and came up with some brilliant idea's. She grew right before your eyes and became a strong female lead character.
Drew was your typical male lead in this genre of book but then he also surprises you so much in what is essentially a very short amount of time he is a rock star but he is a protective older brother and a great friend we get to know more about the family with each book and the entire family just make this book what it is.

I have already briefly wrote about the outline of this story and its sort of friends to lovers story but it is also so much more than that it deals with grief and separated family's and i cannot wait to read the next book in the series since it is another friends to lovers story and those are currently my favourite trope.
