Royally Jacked - Niki Burnham Series Review - SPOILER FREE

So i was looking for a story about a girl who falls in love with a Prince or something similar when i came across this book series and i brought the bind up and read 1 book a month in September, October and November.
This is a Trilogy set in a small obscure island in Europe and is a funny real and just so damn cute series.

Royally Jacked

In the first book in this very cute trilogy, we start in Virgina, where the main character Valerie's life has been torn apart by her mothers confession, she is a lesbian and is leaving Valerie's Father to move in with her girlfriend called Gabriella. Valerie must then choose who she wishes to live with her mother and Gabby or her father who has just accepted a job working for the royal family of Schwinderborg. When she decides to live with her dad and move into the royal residence of the king and queen she never expects her life to change so dramatically when she meets Prince Georg with chemistry building between them, will a relationship survive with the eyes of the world on them as well as the press hounding them and following them whenever they leave the Palace walls.

Spin Control

In the second novel, Valerie finds herself going back home to visit her friends and family but when she leaves she is on rocky terms with Georg and isn't sure if shes even in a relationship anymore. So when David who she has had a crush on for like EVER asks her on a date she decides to go but when feelings of guilt start creeping in Valerie must choose David or Georg. Also this book centres around Valerie's relationship with her mother, and she finds the answers shes been needing for since it all came out.... What her mum felt like coming out as gay? How she met Gabby? Did her mum cheat on her dad?. This was a beautiful way to fix a broken Mother/Daughter relationship.

Do-Over

The last book in the Royally Jacked Series is a brilliant ending to the series though i was left pretty open, and some people don't like that but i am OK with it. Valerie and Georg relationship takes a turn for the worse when they cant just do normal couple things like go to a school dance and when a woman starts showing interest in Valerie's Dad even more things are changing in her life can she keep up and will her relationship with everyone around her survive.

I hope you give this series a go it is a very cute fluffy quick read, if you have read it let me know what you thought in the comments.

Until Next Time
Happy Reading
