The Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Cbosky

Synopsis

"Charlie's not the biggest geek in high school, but he's by no means popular. Shy, introspective, intelligent, yet socially awkward, Charlie is a wallflower, standing on the threshold of his life whilst watching everyone else live theirs.
As Charlie tries to navigate his way through uncharted territory.
The world of first dates and mix tapes, family dramas and new friends. He realises that he can't stay on the sidelines forever. There comes a time when you have to see what life looks like from the dance floor."
The Perks of being a wallflower was a book i put off reading for a very long time. I had a couple of hours to kill so i picked it up and i fell in love with the book i dont normally read books that are in letter form but i found it amazingly fun and happy then at the same time sad and what Charlie is going through is very typical for around 70% of teens with feeling lonley and smoking sex and drugs.
Stephen Chbosky is an amzing author and can create a scene with just letter and there very vived you can imagine the parties and the laughing and the wind in Sam's dress going through the tunnel. This Book is an amzing coming of age Comedy, romantic funny, sad loving book. It has become one of my favourite in a couple of hours and i will be re reading this book hundreds of times because Charlie, Patrick , and Sam need to be read and read again

There were some aspects of the book i did not like, some parts were cringe worthy but alltogher it was a verry good book

So i give this book a

5 stars
