Officer Luc Moretti had no idea that his dive into the East River would have him drowning in a media frenzy. No matter how many times he tells reporters he was just doing his job, they're determined to make him into NYC's newest hero. Coming from a long line of NYPD's finest, Luc knows that being a cop has nothing to do with headlines and viral videos, and he's more than ready to get back to life away from the cameras—until he meets the gorgeous but jaded journalist assigned to film a TV special on him.
Ava Sims may be the only woman in NYC who isn't in love with Officer Moretti. That's why she's going after the real story—to find out about the man behind the badge. Ava's determined to keep things strictly professional, but the more time she spends around Luc, even she has to admit there's something about a man in uniform . . . and she can't wait to get him out of his.

What to say about this book, when i first stumbled upon this whilst browsing through the Kindle store i thought this was just going to be a quick chick-lit and i would use it to help me get back on track with my reading goal. I was mistaken it hooked me right from the very first page and the characters wormed their way into my heart.

Luc and the Moretti Family remind me of the Reagan's from Blue Bloods, it a family of cops and they might not get along sometimes but they are always their and have each others backs.
Luc is a hero but he doesn't see himself as the hero he sees himself as being a cop and he has so much guilt but that is what makes his character a good one he is flawed he isn't perfect by any means but he is perfect for Ava
Ava is a typical journalist and she knows that there is a story their but first she has to get Officer Moretti to comply and even do the news segment. She is ruthless at the beginning of the book and even at the end as well, but you understand why she has to be that way.

The story was good, with a little bit of intrigue, a little bit of family, a little bit of Friendship and a whole lot of sexual tension. I loved the story it was a really good and quick read that packed a punch it was full of action and love and family and it had all the components i love about this genre. If you love romance, chick lits, Blue Bloods (TV Show) and fluff, you will love this series because it is a really well written book.

Until Next Time
Happy Reading
