I'm Sorry!!!!

😭😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

Explanation

I haven't posted on any of my blogs since September, i really have no excuses for that, apart from the fact that i haven't been reading to much in the past couple of months because i was participating in Nanowrimo and i spent most of October planning and i spent all of November writing.

If you follow me on Instagram you will know that i completed Nanowrimo with over 60,000 words and i am very happy about that and now that is out of the way i have decided to completely re-vamp my blogs and start posting again on a regular schedule in January 2017.
I will be posting the schedule once i have figured it out, in the coming days.

The best things in life . . . can be just around the corne
Rachel and Becca aren't real sisters, or so they say. They are stepsisters, living far apart, with little in common. Rachel is the successful one: happily married with three children and a big house, plus an impressive career. Artistic Becca, meanwhile, lurches from one dead-end job to another, shares a titchy flat, and has given up on love.
The two of them have lost touch, but when Rachel doesn't come home one night, Becca is called in to help.
Once there, she quickly realizes that her stepsister's life is not so perfect after all: Rachel's handsome husband
has moved out, her children are rebelling, and her glamorous career has taken a nosedive. Worst of all,
nobody seems to have a clue where she might be.
As Becca begins to untangle Rachel's secrets, she is forced to confront some uncomfortable truths about
her own life, and the future seems uncertain.
But sometimes happiness can be found in the most unexpected places . . .

When going into this book i didn't know what to expect, but i was genuinely shocked at how much i loved it and how different it was. The story was in my opinion Unique i haven't read anything like it, it centres around a broken family and healing and friendship, companion ship and a little bit of romance added in there as well.

The two main characters couldn't be more different Step Sisters, Rachel is a lot older and supposedly has it all, amazing job, amazing family, amazing husband but nothing is ever as it seems and Becca is the complete opposite lives in a small flat no romance no family and no job. But when her sister goes missing someone needs to look after her 3 children and since Becca and Rachel don't get along it is a lot of drama but you see them grow as characters in a book a also as people because you can connect them with people in your life because both of them are so relatable.
The other characters in this bring it to life from the minor characters to some of the other main characters they just made the book and brought some lightness and some drama as well.

The story is one i personally haven't read before its about one sister thinking there has been a betrayal and the other thinking the other one hates her because her she didn't want to share her dad, it was a true journey and it is one of those books that will stay with me because it is a good book about family and love. I honestly recommend this book because of it writing and the way it written every page held me and i loved every minute of reading this book from start to finish, it is a brilliant book and i loved it, and i really want to read more of Lucy Diamonds books.

Layken's father died suddenly, leaving her to gather every ounce of strength to be a pillar for her family, in order to prevent their world from falling apart. Now her life is taking another unexpected turn...

Layken's mother gets a job which leads to an unwanted move across the country. However, a new home means new neighbours... and Layken's new neighbour is the very attractive Will Cooper.

Will has an intriguing passion for slam poetry, and a matching passion for life. The two feel an irresistible attraction but are rocked to the core when a shocking revelation brings their romance to a screeching halt. Layken and Will must find a way to fight the forces that threaten to tear them apart...or learn to live without each other.

I never wanted to read this book, i thought it might be more like poetry from what i had heard of it and that really isn't what i like to read but after reading November 9, i really wanted to read another Colleen Hoover book, and i chose this book and i am so glad that i did and that i went in knowing nothing.

This book falls into one of those book categories that took me completely by surprise and i the plot twists and all of the drama and it was magically written like all of the other Colleen Hoover books i have read and yes it did have poetry in it but it was Slam Poetry and to me that isn't real poetry but it has such an impact and the way it is so integral to the story

The characters were again brilliantly written and so relatable and the cutest little boys and the way they act they bring a comedic lightness to this book that has a lot of hurt and and a lot of sadness. There is so many twist and turns i am so glad i didn't know anything about this book because it was an amazing experience to feel everything without knowing the truth and anticipating everything that was going to happen.

I don't know if i am going to carry on with this series because i just feel like i want to leave it there, i liked the ending and i don't want to delve back into this world because for me it was wrapped up perfectly and i just wonder if it is worth it to ruin a perfectly good ending by reading more of this series.

This book was a fun, quick, emotional read and one i would recommend readily because of its phenomenal writing style and its story and characters are well worth the read.

November 9 - Colleen Hoover

This is a love story between a guy (me) and a girl (Fallon).
I think.
Can it even be considered a love story if it doesn’t end with love?
Mysteries end when the mystery is solved.
Biographies end when the life story has been told.
Love stories should end with love, right?
Maybe I’m wrong, then. Maybe this isn’t a love story. If you ask me…I’d say this might even be considered a tragedy.
Whatever it is—however it ends—I promised I would tell it. So without further ado.

Once upon a time…I met a girl.
THE girl.

I actually brought this book a while ago when it was 99p and i just never read it because the synopsis just didn't call to me. I am currently in a reading slump and i just stumbled across it in my Kindle library and decided to read it and i am so glad that i did because this book took me completely by surprise it had so many twists and turns and for a romance novel it that is very refreshing.

This book killed my emotions it really did and i creamed a little when Miles and Tate made an appearance. I was very emotionally drained after reading this book because it was a roller coaster.

The characters in this book go through so much, and they are all so phenomenally written that they feel like real people and this story is like a film playing in your head and just the way it was written and the plot twist that i didn't see coming one so strange it made me cry and in such a short space of time i got so connected to these characters and i just needed to know what happened next and i read this book in a couple of hours and it is probably my second favourite Colleen Hoover book i have read.

This book is worth the emotions it puts you through because even after the roller coaster of emotions it puts you through you cant help but smile at the end because of everything you have felt and because it feels like its worth it, and it really is i highly suggest this book because it makes you put things into perspective as well as making the reader feel apart of the book.

Imprudence - Gail Garriger

Title - Imprudence
Author - Gail Carriger
Series - The Custard Protocol #2
ISBN - 9780316212212
Genre - Adult > Steampunk
My Copy - Purchased
Format - Paperback

London is in chaos.
Rue and the crew of The Spotted Custard returned from India with revelations that shook the foundations of the scientific community. There is mass political upheaval, the vampires are tetchy, and something is seriously wrong with the local werewolf pack. To top it all off, Rue’s best friend Primrose keeps getting engaged to the most inappropriate military types.
Rue has got personal problems as well. Her vampire father is angry, her werewolf father is crazy, and her obstreperous mother is both. Worst of all, Rue’s beginning to suspect what they all really are… is frightened.
When the Custard is ordered to Egypt, transporting some highly unusual passengers, Rue’s problems go from personal to impossible. Can she get Percy to stop sulking? Will she find the true cause of Primrose’s lovesickness? And what is Quesnel hiding in the boiler room?

Even though i pre ordered this book, i wasn't sure i even wanted to read it, because i really didn't like the first book in this series i couldn't get into it and didn't really understand what was going on but i decided for my love of the Parasol Protectorate series i would carry on with this series and i am so glad that i did because it definitely got better than the first book.

Imprudence had so much drama and action in it, and also a lot of love and tender family moments. The characters have come a long way since the first book they are more rounded and have been written better than before. Every character brought something to this book be an antagonist, a love interest, or a rival i finished this book in a couple of hours once i started reading i couldn't put it down.

We go back to Egypt in this book the last time we were in Egypt was the last book in the Parasol Protectorate series and it was good to be back there was also some old faces, and some old enemies as well. There was so much packed into this tiny little book, and there was a lot of drama and craziness and one very awkward talk about sex between Alexia and Rue.

The characters were as per usual were brilliantly written and they all added something to the book and it was good to have Lord Maccon and Alexia back in the series and the see the relationship between Rue and Quesnel grow as well.

I am so glad this book was better than the first because if it wasn't i would not carry on with this series but now i need the next book now and i hope it will be even better than this book.

Un shattering Lucy - Terri Anne Browning

Title - Un Shattering Lucy
Author - Terri Anne Browning
Series - Lucy & Harris Novella Series

Genre - New Adult > Romance

Shattered.
That was how Lucy Thornton felt in the aftermath of her breakup with Harris Cutter. Her family thought the best thing for her to do was to put the length of the country between her and Harris.
Reluctantly, she went.
The second Harris sets eyes on Lucy again, he knows she hasn’t moved on any more than he has. Realising that he screwed up, he sets out to prove that they belong together. But the road to un-shattering Lucy is longer and darker than he ever could have imagined.

I forgot i was going to review this book and few others i have been really out of sorts recently when it comes to books, but i really want to get back into it so lets go right into the review there will be spoilers from the previous books in this review but no spoilers from the actual book.

I read this book in one sitting when it was released at midnight and i was so hyped up for this book considering the last book ended on a cliffhanger. This book was well worth the wait no matter the angst and all of the things that happen other things happen that we as a reader have been waiting for since the rocker series.

Lucy and Harris are the epitome of young love growing up and all of the drama's and strife young love has to go through be it from their families or just social and evil means. We had them dealing with a lot in this book, Harris dealing with what Jenna did to him and Lucy still dealing with everything that has happened in her very short life and the way she deals with it and her family finding out.

This was a very emotionally charged book from the very first page to the very last. I love the fact that Browning said she doesn't want t stop writing about the rockers and their children and hopefully grandchildren, because there are so many characters and lives inter-grained in this series and every one of them makes you smile and love them because they are all so individual but the same and i really cant wait to read Luca and Lyrics story those boys and the girls they end up falling in love with that will be one hell of a story.

Nacho Figueras Presents: Wild One - Jessica Whitman

Title - Nacho Figueras Presents: Wild One
Author - Jessica Whitman
Series - The Polo Season #2
ISBN - 9781455563661
Genre - Adult > Romance
My Copy - Purchased
Format - Kindle
Where You Can Find It - Goodreads - Barnes & Noble - Indigo - Amazon UK - Amazon US

Kat Parker thought she'd finally escaped being known as the housekeeper's daughter in the class-obsessed polo town of Wellington, FL. With her first blockbuster screenplay, she'd become the Hollywood It girl-until with one flop suddenly she wasn't. Heading home is her only option.
Kat knows she can write another hit...if only she can find the right story. What she finds instead is the drop-dead gorgeous celebrity athlete Sebastian Del Campo, who's just as well known for his tabloid exploits as he is for his prowess on the polo field.
For Sebastian, everything in life has always come easily-wealth, sports, women. But the perennial party life is starting to feel a bit stale. Especially after meeting Kat. Her easy laughter and candid attitude make him aspire to something more meaningful for the first time in his life.
As Sebastian tells Kat stories of his grandmother Victoria, a woman who could be dripping in diamonds one moment and tearing up the polo field the next, Kat's inspiration fires and soon the pair are back in Hollywood, working on a film together that could make or break both of their careers. And though the chemistry between the two is building, the film's irresistible star has other ideas...

This series has very quickly become my guilty pleasure, because it isn't the best i have ever read but it has this aura about it tat draws you in and you fall i love with the characters and the settings and oddly enough the game of Polo.

We meet Sebastian in the first book and when we met him he put the play in player, and it was really good to see him meet his match in Kat. I wasn't too fond of Kat to begin with oddly enough but she grew on me and by the end she was my favourite character in the book. The Characters from the first book made an appearance and its so good to see how the have grown and how their families have grown.

The story was actually a really heartwarming one, with Kat making a film about his grandmother from her diaries and just the very family centric story line. It flowed perfectly but everything wasn't all roses and there was some angst in here but it was the perfect amount of angst for this cute and fluffy lighthearted book.

I Cannot wait for the next book in the series because it will be very different the main character is a female and she is the 'bastard' sister of Sebastian and i can already smell the drama that is going to unfold. I recommend this book and series to anyone who like a bit of romance and a bit of drama and some lovely and gorgeous men.

PS
I know its a little vague but i really didn't want to spoil this book or the first book and since they are short its difficult to talk about them and not spoil something

Something I Need - Lena Lowe

Title - Something I Need
Author - Lena Lowe
Series - XOXO Nashville #1
ISBN - 9783064691430
Release Date - 14th September 2016
Genre - New Adult > Romance
My Copy - Review Copy
Format - Kindle
Where You Can Find It - Goodreads -  (I cant find any links for this book yet but when they come out i will post them here)

Jonte Williamson has a dream: become Nashville’s next big star. Finding herself unexpectedly homeless hot off the plane wasn’t part of her grand plan.

Cash Bellini is a simple man: he loves his twin sister, Dolly, hates country music, and stays far away from anything more complicated than that.
When Jonte stumbles into Cash’s bar, helping out the homeless country music wannabe is the last thing on his agenda. Pity someone forgot to send the memo to his too-big heart and meddling twin. Throw in a pair of baby blue cowboy boots, a pool table and a splash of tequila, and these two are set to ignite in a hot sexy mess! Will either of their hearts survive the tug-o-war between what they want and what they need?

I requested this book as soon as i read the description, i am a huge fan of country music and the fact that this is a series set in the heart of country music, Nashville, Tennessee i was so excited to start this book and it didn't disappoint.

The story rocked, literally, it was an amazing story from the very first page to the last and i loved the story because its so true to life so many people do it so many people drop everything and move to Nashville to start a career in country music and you meet so many people and find people that you never thought you would end up with in the end. It also wasn't without its angst but it had just the right amount and everything was in balance and it was a brilliant story and i cant wait for the next book in the series and for a debut novel it was truly amazing.

The characters were some of the best in a debut novel i have read in a while, and Jonte (like Bronte but with a J) was such a strong female character she moved halfway round the world and had to stand up to her family and try to live in Nashville when everything goes wrong. Cash is a strong character but in a complacently different way, he goes through so much during the course of this book and we see him grow stronger and stronger and it makes you root for him and his family as well, because with Dolly is twin sister and Nannie it made me so happy, to have a cast of characters that not one of them was bad and they all made the book an experience.

I really can't wait to read the rest of this series and go back to magical setting of Nashville, and delve back into these characters, i really recommend this book it is such an enjoyable read.

Under The Lights - Abbi Glines

Title - Under The Lights

ISBN - 9781471125041
Genre - YA > Contemporary

Willa can’t erase the bad decisions of her past that led her down the path she’s on now. But she can fight for forgiveness from her family. And she can protect herself by refusing to let anyone else get close to her.

High school quarterback and town golden boy Brady used to be the best of friends with Willa—she even had a crush on him when they were kids. But that’s all changed now: her life choices have made her a different person from the girl he used to know.
Gunner used to be friends with Willa and Brady, too. He too is larger than life and a high school football star—not to mention that his family basically owns the town of Lawton. He loves his life, and doesn’t care about anyone except himself. But Willa is the exception—and he understands the girl she’s become in a way no one else can.
As secrets come to light and hearts are broken, these former childhood friends must face the truth about growing up and falling in love…even if it means losing each other forever.
I actually have two copies of this book i ended up buying this book on my kindle and had the physical book on pre order but that came on the Thursday but i read it on my kindle on the Tuesday. Confused yet, so am i. I am glad i brought this on my kindle because it meant i could read it when it came out and i was so looking forward to this book, but it wasn't as good as the first, this one had a lot more family drama and craziness.

The story in Under The Lights is very different from the first this one was more drama related than the first one which was more about healing and loss, I'm not saying this story is worse because of that but i am saying it doesn't hold up for me emotionally where the first book hit me so hard this was a lot like other YA Contemporaries.
The story flowed well, and it was an extremely enjoyable read one that i devoured in one sitting. I also hope we have seen something for the future because i am 100% sure Riley is going to have a book and hopefully its the next book because i just cant wait to hear her story.

This was a little bit of a love triangle and i have really gone off those, but the characters in the Love triangle Willa, Brady, and Gunner and then we also have Nanna and all of the supporting characters who bring so much be it bad or good every character brought something to the book and that is one thing i love about Glines' books the characters always make the book 10 times better.

I cant wait for the next book, i am guessing it will be out next August since so far both books have been released in August of successive years. and i really hope its about Riley and someone that i cant say because it will spoil the book, but i think that one will definitely go back to the emotional stuff.

The secret Thomas and Travis have kept for a decade will be revealed to the rest of the family, and for the first time the Maddoxes will be at odds. While none of them are strangers to loss, the family has grown, and the risk is higher than ever. With brothers against brothers and wives taking sides, each member will make a choice—let the fear tear them apart, or make them stronger
I am going to give a disclaimer right now this may contain spoilers because it will be extremely difficult to talk about this book without talking about some aspects of it, but i will say if you read this book be prepared to sob uncontrollably .

I read this book in one sitting at midnight when it came out and i finished it and 3:21 am i stopped reading for like 5 minutes to watch Usain Bolt but i couldn't put this book down, i cried a lot during this book but it was such a bittersweet feeling because it was so good to read about these characters again but they aren't the same they all have their own problems i think the only ones who didn't was Tyler and Ellie so it was a bit of a turn around.

The character were the same but different, and that made me smile that at times you could see the old them shine through, i had one problem overall and that was Cami i loved her in Beautiful Oblivion but i actually didn't like her in this book with the way that she was acting, but we had some adorable children and Olive all grown up we also had some Hollis and Alyssa interaction. Jim as always was the strong patriarch and it was a beautiful book that gave these characters a second chance to shine as bright as they were meant to.

When i first started reading, i didn't know if i was going to like it because of how different it was and i felt like it might ruin the future i painted for them in my head, but it didn't i mean even now i am in a bit of denial and will never think about the last couple of chapters as cannon but that's just because i love a happy ending.

If you have read the other books in this series i highly recommend this book because it just wraps everything up and we get Maddox Children, if not read it just for the children because they are so cute. It was worth every single tear i shed at 3 am and i will read this book again and again just like the rest of the series.

Until Next Time
Happy Reading
