Johanna Walker knows what she wants. And that's a strong, steady, financially secure man who will treat her well and look after her and her little brother, Cole - something her parents have never done.
But when she meets the gorgeous Cameron MacCabe, a new bartender at work, Jo can't deny the instant and undeniable attraction she feels. Cam doesn't fit into her strict specifications of her perfect partner at all - but for once she is tempted to let her heart rule her head.
And as their intense connection grows, Jo has to stop hiding the truth about herself and her family. Is Cam prepared to accept Jo for who she really is? And is Jo willing to let someone into her life for keeps?
First things first this was an emotional roller coaster, it felt like when one thing got resolved something else cropped up. I have to admit it did get quite annoying at times i was like oh for god sake this problem just got solved and there is still 100/ 200 pages to go it was a bit down heartening at times.
The new characters we meet in this was were very good and funny as well as some very complex characters with how they deal with situations and also their feeling it also has quite a few set up's for the next 3 books, You will also enjoy like many companion series about finding out about all of the characters from book one and it was so good to see how their lives have progressed since On Dublin Street.
Johanna was such a strong female lead that was a second mother to her brother but even then she had to have help from Cameron who was also a very good character but even he had some flaws that brought this book down a few points.
I rated this 4 flags because it felt like there was just too many problems and it got very boring after a while because it got very predictable.
Until Next Time
Happy Reading
