Kate Golightly needs to move forward and what better way to do that then with a trip to the Cornish coast with best friend and boss, Izzy.
The sea wind is just what Kate needs to finally relax and begin to let go of her past. Except she’s suddenly got one big reason to panic! She RSVP’d ‘yes’ to the Queen Bee of her high school’s wedding saying she’s bringing her boyfriend (she doesn’t have one) who looks just like Ross Poldark!
With only two weeks to find the Poldark look-alike of her dreams Kate is under a lot of pressure for the Cornish coast to deliver…
I am a tad out of practice when it comes to reviews, but i figured why not start the year off with a nice summery book considering it is raining and snowing outside, I actually read this book on the 27th of December and even though it was not christmassy in the slightest it still was a really good book.
Calling all Poldark lovers because this book is all about finding Kate's very own Ross Poldark and it is as funny as it sounds. There is also some intrigue and drama that goes along in this book it is a little bit predictable but i have read so many of these books now that i can see the story line from a mile off.
The Characters were good, Kate went through finding herself in this book and realising not to judge a book by its cover and don't trust people at face value. I loved all of the characters but Tremain definitely holds a very big piece of my heart.
The story flowed and it is a very quick read one most people can get through within a couple hours, it is a feelgood book with some drama and just the right amount of everything, friendship, family, love, drama, animosity.
I cannot wait to read more from this author, i have a feeling she will become one of my favourites.
Until Next Time
Happy Reading
