The penultimate book in The Rosemary Beach Series i cant believe its almost over i read this as soon as it came out on the 1st and read it in a couple of hours i highly suggest you read this series or any of Abbi Glines' Books

The Uncrowned Queen - Anne O'Brien

A Prequel to The King's Concubine, a free novella i have read a lot of Anne O'Brien this month and i enjoyed them thoroughly i cannot wait to carry on reading her books.

1330. Philippa of Hainault may be married to King Edward III but she is kept penniless and powerless. England grimaces in the clutches of the Dowager Queen Isabella and her ruthlessly ambitious lover Lord Mortimer, while Edward’s father rots in illegal confinement, a prisoner at Mortimer’s hand.
It will take a courageous young man to emerge from the shadows and rise up against this formidable pair. But now Edward is grown to maturity and Philippa, his new wife, is determined to see justice done. It is her advice, whispered into the young King Edward’s ear, that will see the battle for England’s throne commence.
Treason is rife, with all to lose but a Crown – in more than name - to gain. The victor’s prize is England…failure is death.

Plantagenet Princess, Tudor Queen - Samantha Wilcoxson

She was the mother of Henry VIII and wife of Henry VII, but who was Elizabeth of York? Raised as the precious oldest child of Edward IV, Elizabeth had every reason to expect a bright future until Edward died, and her life fell apart.
When Elizabeth's uncle became Richard III, she was forced to choose sides. Should she trust her father's brother and most loyal supporter or honor the betrothal that her mother has made for her to her family's enemy, Henry Tudor?
The choice was made for her on the field at Bosworth, and Elizabeth the Plantagenet princess became the first Tudor queen.
Did Elizabeth find happiness with Henry? Did she ever discover the truth about her missing brothers, who became better known as the Princes in the Tower?
Lose yourself in Elizabeth's world in Plantagenet Princess, Tudor Queen.

Oblivion - Jennifer L Armentrout

Experience the epic love story of OBSIDIAN as told by its hero, Daemon Black…
I knew the moment Katy Swartz moved in next door, there was going to be trouble. Lots of it.
And trouble’s the last thing I need, since I’m not exactly from around here. My people arrived on Earth from Lux, a planet thirteen billion light years away. Plus, if there’s one thing I know, it’s that humans can’t be trusted. We scare them. We can do things they only dream about, and honestly, we make them look weak as hell. ‘Cuz they are.
But Kat is getting to me in ways no one else has, and I can't stop myself from wanting her—or wanting to use my powers to protect her. She makes me weak, and I’m the strongest of our kind, tasked with protecting us all. So this one simple girl…she can mean the end for us. Because the Luxen have an even bigger enemy—the Arum, and I need to stay on my game.
Falling for Katy—a human—won't just place her in danger. It could get us all killed, and that’s one thing I’ll never let happen...

Falling Down - Anne Mercier

I was twelve when I started crushing on him.
I was seventeen when I met him by chance and our connection was made.
Now here I am, twenty-three, and I'm one of the two actresses in the video for his band's latest single.

Jesse Kingston is a tall, dark, and gorgeous temptation I'm finding hard to resist. It ends up not being as simple as doing a job and going home. It can't be when he continually makes his presence known with his not-so-innocent touches and sexy words. There is no avoiding him and after spending so much time with him, I'm not sure I want to.
So, when he proposes a weekend together, knowing I should say no, I throw caution to the wind and instead I say yes. I'm going to ignore the warning signs and do what I normally wouldn't--I'm going to give in to my desire. I'm going to indulge my fantasies and give this sexy rocker what he wants and something he won't forget--me.
The only question is: Is one weekend going to be enough? Will our time end up changing this bad boy? Or will it end up changing me?

Now onto the books i got for Christmas because i told everyone what ones i wanted....

Harry Potter 1-7 box set - J K Rowling

I really don't have anything to say about this if you haven't read harry potter where have you been the past like 18 years.....

 Carry On - Rainbow Rowell

Simon Snow is the worst chosen one who’s ever been chosen.

That’s what his roommate, Baz, says. And Baz might be evil and a vampire and a complete git, but he’s probably right.

Half the time, Simon can’t even make his wand work, and the other half, he sets something on fire. His mentor’s avoiding him, his girlfriend broke up with him, and there’s a magic-eating monster running around wearing Simon’s face. Baz would be having a field day with all this, if he were here—it’s their last year at the Watford School of Magicks, and Simon’s infuriating nemesis didn’t even bother to show up.

Young Bess - Margaret Irwin

Growing up in the shadow of her dead mother, the infamous Anne Boleyn, young Princess Elizabeth has learnt to be continuously on the watch for the political games played out around her. When her distant father, Henry VIII, dies, the future brightens for Elizabeth.

Captive Princess -  Margaret Irwin

In this, the second of Margaret Irwin’s great trilogy about the life of ‘Good Queen Bess’, Elizabeth I, the imperious, high spirited heroine of Young Bess finds herself the prey of her sister Mary’s jealous suspicions. The death of her young brother, Edward IV; the accession of Bloody Mary; the execution of Lady Jane Grey; her own imprisonment in the Tower of London; and the arrival of Philip of Spain to marry Queen Mary provide the powerful background to Irwin’s masterful novel as Elizabeth strives to achieve her ambition, the Crown of England.

Elizabeth & The Prince of Spain - Margaret Irwin

The 3rd and final in the Elizabeth Trilogy

The World of Poldark - Emma Marriott

Emma Marriott's The World of Poldark explores the characters, the compelling stories and the era that Winston Graham - and the television series - set out to recreate, the England that Ross Poldark returned to from the American War of Independence. England, and especially Cornwall, was then marked by social unrest and a deep division between rich and poor. It was a place of tin mines and shipwrecks, of new money versus old, of harsh justice and great kindness. And, above all, it was a place that inspired Winston Graham's beloved novels.
Amid the turmoil of eighteenth-century Cornwall, Ross comes back to a home in ruins, his father dead and his childhood sweetheart engaged to another - his own heart as battered as the country around him.
Experience the great houses and the glorious landscapes and follow the cast of characters as their stories play out against the backdrop of Cornwall's wild beauty, through interviews with the actors, behind the scenes insights and in-depth information on costumes, props and locations. Packed full of behind the scenes photographs, The World of Poldark is the ultimate guide to the popular series.

The Lady Elizabeth is set during the reign of 4 English monarchs - Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth herself. It tell you how her childhood shaped her as a monarch, like the reasons she never wanted to marry and have go through childbirth, her views on men & family life have been distorted by her relationship with two different men, her father & the man she fall in love with at a young age. Elizabeth's relationships with her step mother's and how each one shaped her and her beliefs in her faith and her close relationship with her companion who tells her stories of her mother and how amazing and beautiful she was. Elizabeth goes through so much for someone so young. How will the things of her childhood shape her future.

The Lady Elizabeth was one of those books that i read and couldn't believe i hadn't picked up sooner, it made me laugh cry and my jaw drop, there were twist and turns from the facts that we know and brilliant little bits added here and there like a shadow and relationships that never should have happened, Elizabeth is such a strong female character definitely holding on to the values that the real Elizabeth I held on tightly to. The Lady Elizabeth was a very good book, i highly suggest you give this book a try, It was a very interesting take on The Virgin Queen.I really don't want to say too much because most of it you can find on google because it is history then you have the little bits that really make the book excellent.

Magnus Chase & The Sword of Summer - Rick Riordan

Title - Sword Of Summer
Series - Magnus Chase & The Gods of Asgard
Author - Rick Riordan

Magnus Chase is homeless his mother died a couple years ago and his father has never been around, his mother always told him not to trust his uncle, and when his other uncle comes looking for him he is suspicious and when he is accompanied by his cousin Annabeth, he learns a secret kept from him by everyone he is the son of a Norse God and he has to prove himself worthy of being allowed in Valhalla, a warriors paradise he has to go on quests and make enemies every where he goes. Will Magnus find out why his Uncle is not to be trusted and what his cousin Annabeth's secret is?

So first post it i put in the book was on the dedication ...

i literally fangirled so hard reading that, The funny Chapter headers are back and as brilliant as ever. This was such a good book Rick Riordan has done it again he has made me fall in love with a mythological world this time the Norse Mythology, Magnus is sassy and a fun character POV to read from. Even his sword has sass and we also have some really lovely Magnus/Annabeth family bonding there is a lot of action and suspense as well, i wouldn't call this middle grade there is a lot more YA humour in this then his other books like
"the waist deep water was so cold i imagined i would be singing soprano for the rest of the week."
Its really difficult not to spoil the story line of this book because its so intertwined with my feeling for the book so all i am going to say is it was a really good first book in a series and i cannot wait to carry on with this series.

I love Richelle Mead and her writing i haven't read the book she released this year yet i will soon but as soon as i read the synopsis i fell in love and am counting the days until its released.

A dazzling new fantasy series set in a mix of Elizabethan and frontier worlds that’s dripping with romance from Richelle Mead, #1 internationally bestselling author of Vampire Academy.
Big and sweeping, spanning the refined palaces of Osfrid to the gold dust and untamed forests of Adoria, The Glittering Court tells the story of Adelaide, an Osfridian countess who poses as her servant to escape an arranged marriage and start a new life in Adoria, the New World. But to do that, she must join the Glittering Court.
Both a school and a business venture, the Glittering Court is designed to transform impoverished girls into upper-class ladies capable of arranging powerful and wealthy marriages in the New World. Adelaide naturally excels in her training and even makes a few friends: the fiery former laundress Tamsin and the beautiful Sirminican refugee Mira. She manages to keep her true identity hidden from all but one: the intriguing Cedric Thorn, son of the wealthy proprietor of the Glittering Court.
When Adelaide discovers that Cedric is hiding a dangerous secret of his own, together, they hatch a scheme to make the best of Adelaide’s deception. Complications soon arise—first, as they cross the treacherous seas from Osfrid to Adoria, and later, when Adelaide catches the attention of a powerful governor.
But no complication will prove quite as daunting as the potent attraction simmering between Adelaide and Cedric. An attraction that, if acted on, would scandalize the Glittering Court and make them both outcasts in wild, vastly uncharted lands. . . .

9. The Hammer of Thor - Rick Riordan (October 4th)

the second book in the Magnus chase and the gods of Asgard series Magnus is such a sassy and brilliant character i cannot wait to read more.

The only person she can turn to is the mysterious Silas, a young man who buys deadly poisons from Errin, but won't reveal why he needs them. 6. Under The Lights - Abbi Glines (23rd August)

The second book in the Field Party series and its Brady's story i literally loved the first book in the series and Abbi Glines is a auto buy for me.

SPOILERS
In the follow-up to Abbi Glines’s #1 New York Times bestseller Until Friday Night—which bestselling author Kami Garcia called “tender, honest, and achingly real”—three teens from a small southern town are stuck in a dramatic love triangle.
Willa can’t erase the bad decisions of her past that led her down the path she’s on now. But she can fight for forgiveness from her family. And she can protect herself by refusing to let anyone else get close to her.

Top 15 Books of 2015

Hello Everybody, so these are the top books i read in 2015 i loved everyone of them, now they weren't necessarily released in 2015 but i did read them in 2015 so that was too many 2015's i hope you enjoy lets get started in no particular order ....

1. Winter- Marissa Meyer

I read Winter when it came out in November and it was glorious i originally put Cress on the list but then decided i like Winter a little bit better.

2. Ross Poldark - Winston Graham

Even though this book was published back in the 40's it is timeless and written to perfection i have read the first 4 books in this series and any one of them could have been on this list so i went with the first book instead of trying to decide.

3. Queen of Shadows - Sarah J Maas

Review Here
I loved this book i cant believe its going to end in two books time  this was an amazing book that didn't let its predecessors down what so ever the next two years will defiantly have the next two books on them. (i don't want to say too much so i don't spoil you)

4. The Ruby Circle - Richelle Mead

The last book of The Bloodlines series and The Entire Vampire Academy world and it went on this list all the way back in February and has stayed on no matter how many other books were added over the top. If you haven't read either series yet i highly suggest you give it a go it holds many memories for me and i personally love them over most other series'.

5. A Court of Thorns and Roses - Sarah J Maas

 Review Here
The Second of Sarah J Maas' books on this list but i cant help that they are amazing, this is a beauty and the beast re telling and beauty and the beast is my favourite Disney movie and i cannot wait to read more beauty and the beast retelling's i also cannot wait till the next book comes out (its already pre ordered)

6. Until Friday Night - Abbi Glines

Review Here
I said this when i reviewed it it is one of my most favourite book of the year it was funny and emotional and just sheer brilliantness (not a word) check out the review to see all of my thoughts.

7. Ugly Love - Colleen Hoover

I only started reading Colleen Hoover this year and i could have picked any of the books i read but Ugly love was my favourite i still love it now i only own it on my kindle and i want to buy a physical copy so i can read it again.

8. The Heir - Kiera Cass

The Heir want the best book of the year but i like it for reasons i cant explain its like a guilty pleasure i literally cant explain how much i loved the characters and being back in this world it was glorious.

9. Magnus Chase & the Sword of Summer - Rick Riordan

Rick Riordan is always amazing his books even though they are meant for middle grade any one can enjoy them the sass and the witty quips are just in perfect balance.

10. The Sin Eaters Daughter - Melinda Salisbury

This was a debut novel and author this year and it was an amazing fantasy book the whole package was brilliant it had an amazing premise, a beautiful cover, and the actual story was above par for a first in a trilogy they are normally the worst.

11. The Shadow Cabinet - Maureen Johnson

The 3rd books in The Shades of London series and its all about ghosts or shades as they are called here and its just such an under rated series that needs to be more popular.

12. Bloodline - Conn Iggulden

The 3rd book in the Wars of The Roses quartet was the best in the series so far. If like me you know the time line of the wars of the roses you know the next book the conclusion is going to be epic and Conn Igguldens writing it fantastic.

13. Forever With You - J Lynn

This was a very different book in terms of story to the other books in the series i think that's why it stick out for me. The main character Steph deals with some pretty heavy stuff and then you have all the characters from past series and it ju8st filled me with feels.

14. The Rocker Who Betrays Me - Terri Anne Browning

I found this series last December and Brown9ing has released two books in this series this year and either of them could have gotten on this list but i chose the newest one because it again filled me with so many feels it was hard to contain my love for this series.

15. When I'm Gone/When You're Back - Abbi Glines

I really couldn't pick between the two on them and they are two parts to the same story so i thought i would lump them together Mase Colt-Manning is probably my all time favourite Cowboy he just personifies everything that i love he loves him mum, and the rest of his family fiercely and he protects the people around him and Reese as a lead female she rocked it.

So that was my top 15/16 books of 2015 i hope you enjoyed

Until Next Time
