Top 5 Wednesday - Books You've Read Because of Booktube/Blogging/etc. - 27th September 2017

Hello, so it has been a long time since i posted let alone did a T5W, so i thought to get back into blogging and hopefully reading that i will start doing these again and take my blog back to where i first began. So this weeks T5W is all about the books i read because of Booktube/Blogging. I haven't watched booktube or been on any blogs for a while so these books are pretty old but here is my list....

5. Beautiful Disaster - Jamie McGuire
I kept seeing this book around here and there and decided to read it and i was so happy that i did even though i haven't read it in quite a few years it is still a firm favourite.

4. Obsidian - Jennifer L Armentrout
Again i haven't read this book in quite some time but i really stuck with me, and now i want to re read it.

3. The Fault in Our Stars - John Green
This book has so many emotions to it, and i have many fond memories of it as well, at one point on Booktube this book was all anyone could talk about,

2. We Were Liars - E Lockheart
I read this book back in 2014 and it still plays with my mind even now, when this book came out and everyone was raving about it, i thought this cant be as good as everyone says it is, but it really messed my mind up.

1. Percy Jackson - Rick Riordan
The entire Percy Jackson saga is one that i love with all my heart it think it was Katytastic that i first saw them on, but i cant be sure. I first read them in 2013 and i haven't looked back.

So Until Next Time
Happy Reading

Top 5 Wednesday - Most Recent Additions To Your Wishlist - 20th July 2016

Hello, it has been a couple weeks since i have done a T5W, but i decided to do it this week and the topic for this week is the most recent additions to your wish list. This was a bit tough for me because i don't tend to have a wish list so i went by the books i have pre ordered recently and books that i have only just heard about ....

5. The Winter King - Thomas Penn

I have fallen back in love with the Tudor period but this time more with early Tudors and the tv documentary on this book is one of my favourites you can find it on youtube it is fascinating.

4.Summer Days & Summer Night - Edited by Stephanie Perkins

I read the Christmas version of this the past two years but i have been in a reading slump so i haven't been buying many books so this is still on my list but right now we are having amazing weather in London so i am really feeling summer books right now.

3. Imprudence - Gail Carriger

I read the first book in this series and then forgot about the rest of the series this book is released tomorrow and i forgot to pre order it so i am going to order it tomorrow off of Book Depository.

2. Henry - Tony Riches

I read Owen the first book in this series earlier this year and i still have Jasper the second book to read but physically cannot wait to read this book.

1. Harry Potter and The Cursed Child -  J K Rowling

I think this will be on everybody's list because i mean we didn't think we were ever going to get more and now we are the only thing is i thin everybody has such high expectations that it will probably disappoint and i really don't want that to happen.

Top 5 Wednesday - Favourite Books Outside Your Comfort Zone - 6th July 2016

Hello, so this week was actually pretty difficult because i don't feel like i have a comfort zone genre but then i really thought about and i chose books that i wouldn't of normally read but did and i enjoyed them.

5) Sharp Objects - Gillian Flynn

I had never really read a psychological thriller before and it was out of my comfort zone because i had to sleep with the light on after this creepy book.

4) Marley & Me - John Grogan

This was the first Non-Fiction book i ever read and i had only ever read fiction before that, this book made me want to read more non fiction

3)Game of Thrones - George RR Martin

Back in 2013 when i read this book i had not read fantasy and definitely not adult fantasy so this definitely started my love affair with adult fantasy.

2)And The There Were None - Agatha Christie

I would never be interested in a book like this but i saw the tv show and decided to read it and it is one of my favourite books i have read this year

1)The Hollow Crown - Dan Jones

Another Non Fiction book but this never felt like a non fiction it read like fiction and that is why it is my favourite non fiction of all time.

Top 5 Wednesday - Settings You Want To See More Of - 29th June 2016

Hello, so this weeks T5W is about the bookish settings you wish to see more of, this was pretty easy for me because i already had a few in my head straight away and then i looked at my shelves and found the others... so lets get started ....

5. Gallagher Girls - Ally Carter

I would love to see them after graduation actually doing what they had been training for and seeing where they are n the world.

4. Vampire Academy - Richelle Mead

I will always want more Rose and Dimitri because they just fascinate me and i would love to read about them dealing with all the revelations that came out in The Ruby Circle.

3. Early Tudor Period - 1485 - 1509

There are so many books on The Tudor Era between 1509 and 1602 but not the earliest during the reign of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York, i have no idea why they fascinate me so much but i would love to read more of their lives

2. Rosemary Beach/Sea Breeze - Abbi Glines

If you haven't read Until The End (the last book in the Sea Breeze series) you wont know what I'm talking about, but if you have you will know what i want because that was pure evil you cannot just leave it there.

1. Hogwarts - J K Rowling

I mean who wouldn't want more Hogwarts even if its a prequel or a sequel everyone would read it.

Top 5 Wednesday - Book Theme Songs - 1st June 2016

Hello, so this weeks T5W is all about book Theme Songs it can be a song that reminds you of a book or just a song you were listening to while reading a book.... lets get started ....

5 - London Belongs To Us - Sarra Manning

London Calling - The Clash
 Pretty self explanatory

4. Until Friday Night - Abbi Glines

Friday Night - The Shires
i was listening to this song on repeat when  reading this book

3. Me Before You - JoJo Moyes

Thinking Out Loud - Ed Sheeran
just a beautiful song for a beautiful book

2. The Summer I Turned Pretty - Jenny Han

19 You & Me - Dan & Shay
i love this song it makes me think of summer when i listen to it, and reading this book also makes me think of summer

1. The White Princess - Philippa Gregory

Samson - Regina Specktor
there is a line in this song that makes me think of Henry & Elizabeth and its, "and the history books forgot about us" now the history books didn't forget about them but they are heavily overshadowed by their son Henry VIII so not many people know of them and that is really sad considering the impact they had on our history.

Top 5 Wednesday - Characters You Defend - 25th May 2016

This was again really hard, i don't really like a lot of characters that need defending so i chose some characters some i ave defended and some i will defend if it ever comes up....

5 . Tyrion - A Song of Ice and Fire - George R R Martin

In the TV show he is one of my favourites and he is a lot of people's favourite as well, but in the books he isn't as liked, in the TV show they definitely left out some of his other qualities, but i would still defend him till the end.

4. Nan - Rosemary Beach - Abbi Glines

I mean don't get me wrong Nan has done some messed up crap, but then you would be messed up if you thought you'd been abandoned by one man only to find out he isn't your father and your real father also didn't want you, not to mention her mother. I feel so sorry for Nan because she really just doesn't know how to act she needs the attention she didn't have as a child.

3. Luke Castellan - The Lightning Thief - Rick Riordan

Again like Nan he had some abandonment issues and just wanted someone to care, not to mention he was being forced to do it.

2. Bellamy Blake - The 100 - Kass Morgan

Bellamy just wanted to protect his sister and that is something he has done his entire life he isn't a bad person he didn't want to shoot Jaha but it was the only way he could get on the Drop Ship.

1. Henry Tudor - The White Princess - Philippa Gregory

Now this is more defending a character from an author and people who believe said author than from people hating on this character. So in the White Princess Henry is portrayed as a rapist and a ruthless, evil, and also had a mistress. NOT TRUE, Henry never took a mistress, he rapidly declined in health and also in running the country after Elizabeth's death and he was inconsolable when he found out she had died. He brought her a lion and you can see on his expenses that he would give her money so she could buy herself little trinkets and also indulge in cards or chess. And i just really hate the fact that he was portrayed as a rapist that really bugged me.

Top 5 Wednesday - Summer Reads - 18th May 2016

So i had a lot to choose from but i still ended up choosing two books from the same author, so lets get started ....

5 . Amy & Rogers Epic Detour - Morgan Matson

This was the first book i read in 2014 and that was in January but it really made me feel lovely and summery in the cold English winter

4. Girl Online - Zoe Sugg

Its the cover that is summer for me all those bright colours and also the story set in America and also Brighton a lovely sea side town.

3. Fallen Too Far - Abbi Glines

I think its all the descriptions of the Beach on the Gulf that makes this book a summer read for me, it makes you want to be right there lounging on the beach.

2.The Summer i Turned Pretty - Jenny Han

This is all about a girl who goes away for the summer and its the summer boys really start noticing her.

1. Since You've Been Gone - Morgan Matson

The Cover, the story, the characters, and the setting all contribute to this book being a summer read it is perfect for summer and i am going to re read it this summer.

5. Abby Abernathy - Beautiful Disaster - Jamie McGuire

I am like Abby in the sense that she has some major Daddy Issues, and so do I.

4. Katniss Everdeen - The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins

Katniss' love for her sister is one i hold very dear, i have 3 older siblings and we would do anything for each other.

3. Katy Swartz - Lux Series - Jennifer L Armentrout

I mean she is a Book Blogger, what do i have in common with her HMMMMM

2.Harriet Manners - Geek Girl - Holly Smale

Harriet is a huge Geek who loves facts and sugar cookies and i am the same and extremely awkward as well

1. Cath Avery - Fangirl - Rainbow Rowell

I am like Cath because i don't like meeting new people and i would do everything she did if i was in that kind of environment, and i am also a huge fan girl and love fanfiction.
