Introducing Me

Hello, so I have been so inactive on this blog for such a long time and I am very sorry about that, but in that time I have changed my name to my original name so I am no longer going through a pseudonym of Peyton Fox I am using my real name which is Jade O'Brien nothing else about me was a lie I am in my early twenties and I am from London so my name was the only thing I changed about myself and at the end of my posts from now on I will have my name instead of Peyton.

Why did I use a pseudonym?

To be honest, I started this blog when I was 18 but I wasn't confident in myself and I wanted to hide behind my blog so I used a name that I loved from a old favourite TV show called One Tree Hill and the last name was just one that was quite common.

Why stop using it?

I am now 23 and much more confident in myself and I just didn't want to hide behind Peyton anymore she wasn't really any different from myself but behind her I felt like I could be true to myself without feeling awkward about reviewing books.

What's going to change?

Nothing except my name at the bottom of the posts and I am going to make a schedule and I am going to stick to it. I will start uploading again, because I really missed this blog so much and since I started writing this I didn't realise how much.

So Until Next Time
Happy Reading

Love Me Like This - Bella Andre Review

Title - Love Me Like This
Author - Bella Andre
Series - The Morrison's #3
ISBN9781945253393
Genre - Contemporary Romance
My Copy - Purchased
Format - Kindle
Where You Can Find It - Goodreads - Barnes & Noble - Indigo - Amazon UK - Amazon US - Amazon CA - IBooks
Eight years have passed since Justin Morrison first laid eyes on Taylor and fell head over heels in love with her, even though he knew she could never be his. He's tried everything he can to get over her--including moving to another country--but she's still the only woman he'll ever want.

Eight years is a heck of a long time to secretly love someone. Taylor knows all too well how impossible it is to forget a man as sexy, sweet, and brilliant as Justin Morrison. So when he turns up on the doorstep of her Napa Valley bed and breakfast, she can't help but long for the happily-ever-after of her dreams.

As Taylor and Justin spend beautifully romantic mornings together watching the sun rise over the vineyards--and can't help but fall into each other's arms on wickedly sexy nights--it looks like they might finally get their chance at the love they've been waiting for. But will the secret Taylor has been keeping shatter everything in the end?
DISCLAIMER ******* THIS REVIEW MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THE PREVIOUS BOOKS IN THE SERIES.

It  has been a long time since a book from this series was released the previous book was released in 2015 so it took me a few chapters to reacquaint myself with the characters but even when i did it did not matter too much since we don't really see much of the rest of the the Morrison family.
Remembering the other books you could tell from those that this was going to be one of the books but after i finished reading it i didn't get the same feeling as i normally do reading one of Andre's books, it was still good but it felt different.

If you have read any of this type of genre before you know how these books go, it is pretty much a given that you will know what normally happens, boy and girl fall in love, then something happens to tear them apart, then at the end of the book they end up together. This book is different from that and i actually really appreciate that, i feel as if every new adult/adult romance book has the same story lay out and it has gotten boring in recent months. The characters are your typical romance characters, but you can overlook it, when the story is a bit different you don't feel as if you have read this book before.

Taylor and Justin are nice characters and they carry the story and since for most of it, it is just them and some background characters you really do get to know them and get invested in them and if you have read the Sullivan Series from Andre then you will recognise the Napa Valley area from that series, and some of the characters.

Bella Andre is one of my Auto-buy Authors and so even though i didn't enjoy this book as most if her others it doesn't mean it was not worth the read, Andre has such a way with words that it doesn't really matter in any case, and even though i did not particularly enjoy this book i do recommend Andre as an Author and you should check her books out they are rather addictive to read.

Explanation

Hello, i am back once again, but this time i feel as if i owe you all an explanation. So i have let this blog go to the back burner because i have been really busy self-publishing my first book and writing and editing the second, i do not talk about it on this blog because i started this blog in 2013, when i was 18 but i didn't feel comfortable using my real name. So i used a pseudonym, but i have self published my book using my real name even though i am fine with sharing my real name, i do want to keep this blog and my book separate.

But i feel as if i have worked out a system for doing everything, the writing will always come first but i always seem to have at least a week of doing nothing after i finish all i have to do, so i am going to pre write a lot of my posts, and then i will only have a few to do during the month.

So i will be uploading Monday's, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Until Next Time

Sweet Little Thing - Abbi Glines - Review (SPOILER)

Title - Sweet Little Thing
Series - Sweet #1
Author - Abbi Glines
Genre - New Adult > Romance
My Copy - Purchased
Format - IBOOK
Where You Can Find It - Goodreads - Ibooks
The day her mother passed away, Beulah was only given a name. That was it. No other explanation.

Portia Van Allan was not someone Beulah could believe her mother ever knew. Wealthy, self-absorbed and other than the fact Portia was supplying special care for Beulah’s sister, Portia was cruel.

The day Portia’s son returns home for the summer, Beulah discovers that Portia isn’t in charge. This isn’t her home at all. Her late husband left her with nothing. It all belongs to their son who doesn’t seem to like his mother at all.

Jasper Van Allan doesn’t know why his mother has hired a young gorgeous blonde to take care of the house and almost lets her go before he finds out the truth.

Realizing there’s more to Beulah than a stunning face, he keeps finding reasons to be near her all the time. It’s all falling into place, it all begins to make sense . . . until the real lies, the dark secrets, and the skeletons come tumbling out of the Van Allan closet. Twisted truths that will send Beulah running . . .
So as always i pre ordered this book and i was pretty excited about it, but i ended up dissatisfied. Not because it was a bad book but because i felt it was not dissimilar from the Too Far Series also by Abbi Glines.

The characters were quite similar and don't get me wrong, i enjoyed this book and i liked the characters but it didn't feel new, it felt like i was reading a book i had already read.

Beulah was a nice characters POV to read from, she is your typical Glines lead female, sweet, innocent, and falls the one boy she shouldn't have. Jasper on the other hand i feel like we didn't get a lot of him, well not enough for me to have formed either a good or bad opinion of him just yet.

His mother on the other hand is a raging bitch, throughout the entire book she is the epitome of an evil boss, and a crappy mother, then we find she is even more screwed up and not able to take care of a child because she had special needs and treating her own niece who had just lost her mother like rubbish. The one thing i commend her for is the fact that she tells Beulah and Jasper that they are cousins but she should have been honest from the start.

The other characters were OK, none apart from Beulah's 'sister' made an impression i felt like the book was too short, it felt like a novella rather than a book, the story flowed and it was an enjoyable read and i will be continuing on with this story and hopefully i can distance it from the Too Far Series.

Top 5 Wednesday - Books You've Read Because of Booktube/Blogging/etc. - 27th September 2017

Hello, so it has been a long time since i posted let alone did a T5W, so i thought to get back into blogging and hopefully reading that i will start doing these again and take my blog back to where i first began. So this weeks T5W is all about the books i read because of Booktube/Blogging. I haven't watched booktube or been on any blogs for a while so these books are pretty old but here is my list....

5. Beautiful Disaster - Jamie McGuire
I kept seeing this book around here and there and decided to read it and i was so happy that i did even though i haven't read it in quite a few years it is still a firm favourite.

4. Obsidian - Jennifer L Armentrout
Again i haven't read this book in quite some time but i really stuck with me, and now i want to re read it.

3. The Fault in Our Stars - John Green
This book has so many emotions to it, and i have many fond memories of it as well, at one point on Booktube this book was all anyone could talk about,

2. We Were Liars - E Lockheart
I read this book back in 2014 and it still plays with my mind even now, when this book came out and everyone was raving about it, i thought this cant be as good as everyone says it is, but it really messed my mind up.

1. Percy Jackson - Rick Riordan
The entire Percy Jackson saga is one that i love with all my heart it think it was Katytastic that i first saw them on, but i cant be sure. I first read them in 2013 and i haven't looked back.
