Sea Breeze Series - Abbi Glines Review SPOILER (ish)

So the Sea Breeze series is a New Adult series by Abbi Glines, and it consists of nine books and follows a group of friends who reside in the town of Sea breeze Alabama.

I really hope you give this series a try it really is a good and addicting series i finished all nine books in six days.

Breathe

Characters - Sadie White & Jax Stone
Page Count - 333 pgs
ISBN - 978-1-4711-1755-8
Price - GBP -£6.99
Synopsis - Sadie White doesn't get to spend the summer on the beach like most kids. Her mother can't keep a job, so Sadie is forced to work during the break at one of the mansions nearby instead.
Then Sadie discovers Jax Stone, the hottest teenage rock star around, owns The house, and things get a lot more interesting. Jax is adored by teenage girls everywhere - except for Sadie, that is - but the fact she's not impressed by his reputation is exactly what he finds fascinating about her. As the summer passes, Jax and Sadie find themselves drawn to each other, even though their different worlds want to keep them apart. They're about to discover that love can be suffocating, until you find a way to breathe...

So I brought this book on a whim, but I ended up reading it in one sitting and I fell in love with the characters not just the main but also the supporting cast. It was a good book don't get me wrong but it is my least favourite in the series because I wasn't totally sold on the whole Jax as a rock star it just didn't feel right to me but I got over it and still enjoyed the book. Sadie as a character was OK but again not the strongest in the series and was overshadowed but the parts she is in she is the perfect lead female.

So Breathe starts out in Jax's POV and he has just finished his tour and about to go back to his summer home in Sea Breeze. Sadie POV is next and hers starts with her asking her Mum if she is going to work and her mum telling her to go to work for her and that is the start of how Sadie meets Jax along the way she meets motherly figure Ms Mary and hansom stranger Marcus Hardy. When Jax and Sadie finally meet for her its nothing (well that's what she tells herself) and for him its a novelty because no girl has ever not found him attractive and he is hooked from that moment on. their love story is a little bit cliche at some point but all in all it is very endearing and sweet. I'm not going to say much more because i dint want to properly spoil anybody.

Because of Low

Characters - Low Foster & Marcus Hardy
ISBN- 978-1-4711-1753-4
Page Count - 290 pgs
Price - GBP £6.99
Synopsis - Set in the steamy coastal Alabama town of Sea Breeze, an interconnected group of older teens hook up, break up ...and much, much more. Marcus Hardy had hoped to enjoy a year away at college while he put the summer he'd rather forget behind him. But instead, he's jerked right back his home town of Sea Breeze due to a family crisis. The only bright spot to returning is the hot redhead who sleeps over at his place several times a week. There's just one thing though - she's sleeping in bed with his new roommate, Cage York. Willow "Low" Foster needs a place to live. Running to her best friend Cage's apartment every time her sister kicks her out isn't exactly a long term solution. But Cage has a new roommate and suddenly sleeping over at his apartment isn't such a bad thing. Not when she gets to see those sexy green eyes of Marcus's twinkle when he smiles at her like he wants her there. There's one problem though, Cage is under the disillusion that when he's through sowing his wild oats, he's going to marry Low - an assumption Marcus intends to change. But when his carefully laid plans come crashing down with a revelation he never expected, Marcus will have to choose between Low or his family. Because once the truth comes out ...there's no other choice.

Again i loved the characters in this book you have  strong feisty Willow and amazingly hot Marcus who is just what every strong female needs someone who can be strong for her. But when family secrets get revealed who can they turn to when they cant be together. In this book we get introduced to Cage York, Lows best friend since forever, and its also a different setting its at Collage instead of in Sea Breeze it has a different feel to it than the first book this book felt like there was more at steak because you also had their families feeling to contend with.

 While It Lasts

Characters - Eva Brooks & Cage York
Page Count - 267 pgs
ISBN - 978-1-4711-1754-1
Price - GBP - £6.99
Synopsis - Set in the steamy coastal Alabama town of Sea Breeze, an interconnected group of older teens hook up, break up ...and much, much more. Cage York has a free ride to college for baseball - or he did, until he got in trouble for drink-driving. Now he has to give in to his coach's demands and spend his summer baling hay. No hot babes in bikinis waiting to meet a Southern boy to make her vacation complete. Just him and the damned cows. Oh and an uptight, snarky brunette with the biggest blue eyes he's ever seen. Eva Brooks planned out her life step by step when she was eight years old. Not once over the years had she lost sight of her goals. Josh Beasley, her next door neighbour, had been the centre of those goals. He'd been her first boyfriend at seven, her first kiss at ten, her first date at fifteen and her first tragedy at eighteen. The moment she'd received the phone call from Josh's mother saying he'd been killed along with four other soldiers just north of Baghdad, Eva's carefully planned life imploded in the worst way possible. Now she has to deal with the arrogant Cage York and his irritating smile. But as the summer bailing hay rolls by, Cage and Eva learn that what they want (and need) may be something they never saw coming.

So Eva and Cage quickly became my favourite couple they are the typical New Adult couple where you have the bad boy and the good girl when i was reading this book the entire time i was singing Farmers Daughter by Rodney Atkins  and when ever i hear the song it reminds me of this book. Again this book is not set in Sea Breeze but it still has the same feel to it. Eva is still recovering for her first boyfriends death so she doesn't trust Cage at all and its fun to see her feelings change over a period of time and we see Cage go from a man-whore to a one woman man.

Just For Now

Characters - Amanda Hardy & Preston Drake
Page Count - 307 pgs
ISBN - 978-1-4711-1752-7
Price - GBP - £6.99
Synopsis The day Preston Drake figured out that wealthy women paid well for a set of tight abs and a pretty face his life turned around.
The run down rat-infested trailer he had shared with his alcoholic mother and three younger siblings was now only a place he visited to pay the bills and stock the pantry with food.
He no longer worried about his family starving or living without electricity. The money he made entertaining rich older women more than covered his family’s needs and his own. He had it all figured out. Except…
There was this girl.
She was as innocent as he was tainted.
Amanda Hardy wished her knees didn’t get weak when Preston walked into a room. She hated the fact her heart raced when he flashed his smile in her direction. He had a different girl in his bed every night. He was the kind of boy a smart girl ran from. So, why was she coming up with ways to get close to him? Even when it was obvious he wanted to keep her at a distance.
Maybe her heart knew something the world didn’t. Maybe Preston Drake was more than just a pretty face.

so again this was kind of cliche with the whole bad boy falls in love with best friends little sister  but it was unique in a way because of the different circumstances surrounding each of their families you have Amanda's parents who are going through a Divorce and you Preston's mum who is a drug addict and he has to find ways of supporting his 3 younger siblings as well as himself and they way he does that nearly tears them apart and there are times in this book where it really made me sad because Abbi Glines knows how to describe scenes in a way that they pull at you heartstrings like little children dealing with their mothers addiction and impact it has on everybody involved life. Amanda is a good female lead she knows right from wrong even if it gets blurred sometimes and even when she has no faith in anybody she still helps others. This was a phenomenal book and a great addition to the series.

Sometimes It Lasts

Characters - Eva Brooks & Cage York
Page Count - 268 pgs
ISBN - 978-1-4711-2043-5
Price - GBP- £6.99
Synopsis - Cage York has to choose between a love of the game and a love of the girl in this sultry Sea Breeze novel from New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines.
Cage York finally has everything he ever wanted.
And Eva is at the very top of that list;the perfect girl with a temper as hot as her fabulously flawless body. But for Cage, a baseball scholarship has always been a close second. So when Cage finally gets his chance, he and Eva must endure a long distance relationship and all the dangerous temptations that come with it. Temptations that former bad boy Cage York may not be able to escape.
Then after receiving some illicit photos that show Cage has been behaving bald, very badly, Eva finds solace in the comforting arms of her insanely attractive neighbour Jeremy, who vows that he will take care of Eva in ways Cage never could. It's an offer that may be too good for Eva to turn down.

So this is part two to Cage and Eva's story it has more heartbreak and tears then all of the books combined packed into this tiny little book it had me hooked from the very first chapter and kept me till the very end. Like i said before Cage and Eva are my favourite couple in this series and i was so happy when i found out they had another book. This book follows Cage and Eva as they have to deal with a long distance relationship with Cage going to play baseball in Tennessee and Eva was staying on the Farm but then when Eva get suspicious that Cage is cheating she breaks up with him and supposedly moves on with Jeromy the boy next door but when Eva looses her Father and Cage turns up at the funeral he finds out something shocking. What is it ????? go read the book trust me its worth it.

 Misbehaving

Characters - Jess ??? & Jason Stone
Page Count - 316 pgs
ISBN - 978-1-4711-2047-3
Price - GBP£6.99
Synopsis An unexpected affair leads to mind-blowing harmony in this Sea Breeze novel from New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines.

Jason is sick of living in his rock star brother’s shadow. So when he ships off to Sea Breeze, Alabama, he’s looking for a much deserved escape and a chance to blow off some envious steam. Falling for the local bad girl was definitely not the plan. But as the new duo enjoys some naughty fun in the Alabama sun, Jason learns that even though Jax is the musician in the family, he’s not the only brother who can rock someone’s world.

so the dedication in this book pretty much sums it up 'To every reader out there who wanted me to write a "Bad girl" heroine. This one is for you'  this book is unique because you have a clean cut guy with a bad girl and obviously its normally the other way round. Jess is a very endearing character you feel yourself rooting for her because she deserves it and she may be a "Bad Girl" to the outside world but with her family she is loving and devoted and has many redeeming qualities. where as Jason i didn't really like him he was OK enough but at times he just really grated on my nerves and that wasn't pleasant to read but i got over it it wasn't major so it was all good in the end.

Bad For You

Characters - Blythe Denton & Krit Corbin
Page Count - 307 pgs
ISBN - 978-1-4711-2206-4
Price - GBP£6.99
Synopsis - Innocence isn’t meant for the addictive…The next sultry affair in the New York Times bestselling Sea Breeze Collection by Abbi Glines is unstoppably steamy.
Addiction is part of Krit Corbin’s nature—and women have always been his favourite obsession. But that’s the life of a lead singer in a band. He can have any woman he wants—anywhere, anytime. Well, except for one.
Blythe Denton is used to being alone. The minister’s family who raised her never accepted her as their own, and the cruel minister’s wife made sure Blythe understood just how unworthy she was of love. So when she finally gets the chance to live by herself, Blythe takes it and moves into an apartment building with a loud upstairs neighbour who keeps throwing parties all night long.
It’s during one such party when Krit opens the door to find his new neighbour standing there. Blythe wants him to turn down the music, but he convinces her to stay. She’s nothing like the women who parade in and out of his apartment, but Krit can’t resist her—her brown hair, cute glasses, and sexy innocence is too much for him to ignore.
Determined to win Blythe over, Krit Corbin may have just found his biggest addiction yet.

Wow Krit is the bad boy all the good girls crave, he is a rock star who parties all night with multiple women but when the one comes along he changes he stay the same rock star but he only has eyes for her. Blythe is shy and isolated so when she moves below some idiotic boys who party all night she didn't think she would fall in love with the tattooed rock star who cant seem to leave her alone but will his past come back to haunt him when an ex shows up.Its up to big sister Trish to sort it out but when you have a group of friends like the sea breeze gang you will get through anything #SquadGoals.

Hold On Tight

Characters - Sienna Roy & Dewayne Falco
Page Count - 268 pgs
ISBN - 978-1-4711-2208-8
Price - GBP - £6.99
Synopsis - Six years ago, Dewayne Falco's life changed. He lost someone he never expected to lose. Resigned to punish himself for something he felt he could have prevented, he goes through life without getting too close to anyone.
What he didn't expect was for the girl across the street to move back home and remind him of what they both lost: Dewayne's younger brother Dustin. However, when a miniature version of Dustin opens the door to greet him, Dewayne realises he might not have lost everything after all.
Sienna Roy loved Dustin Falco most of her life. He was the boy next door, the high school basketball star and her best friend. But when his life was cut short, she realised he left a part of himself behind.
Now, she's back in Sea Breeze, thankful to have a home for her and Dustin's son, but not sure if she can ever forgive the people across the street who abandoned her when she needed them the most — The Falcos.
Betrayal, lies, and forbidden attraction might end Dewayne and Sienna's story before it's even begun.

This book has some pretty heavy stuff going on you have teen pregnancy, boyfriend dying in drunk driving accidents and here are also a lot of sexual scenes, its probably the most graphic in the series so just be warned if your not okay with that sort of stuff but Dewayne and Sienna have the kind of love you want to experience at least once in your life when you think you have no chance then out of nowhere a chance pops up and you just go for it and ignore what the consequences may be. It was one of those book that's when i put it down i wanted more i didn't want it to be the end and i could have read at least 300 more pages.
Sienna is another strong female lead she has so much to deal with at such a young age and she just dealt with it and never complained, same with Dewayne with a few exceptions he was strong and caring even when he found out about the secret Sienna was keeping for six years.

Until The End

Characters - Trish Corbin & Rock Taylor
Page Count - 376 pgs
ISBN - 978-1-4711-2381-8
Price - GBP - £6.99
SynopsisThe back story that fans have been clamouring for - how Rock and Trisha fell in love - is the final instalment in the sizzling Sea Breeze series.
Trisha Corbin always knew how to hide a bruise. And as long as it meant her momma's boyfriends wouldn't go near her little brother, Krit, it was worth it. But dreaming that Prince Charming would ever rescue her was pointless.
Rock Taylor always had a plan - a football scholarship for a major college team was within his reach - if he didn't let anything get in his way. But he'd never factored in trying to score a date with Trisha, the hottest girl in Sea Breeze. She was every man's walking fantasy, and she wouldn't even glance his way.
But when he finds her beaten and bruised, Rock knew his life was about to change and that he'd do anything to save Trisha Corbin, and keep her safe.
This special conclusion to the Sea Breeze series also contains the wrap-up stories of all your favourite Sea Breeze couples - the steamy romance won't stop until the very last page!

So first lets start with Trish and Rock, high school sweethearts who throughout the series have always been there the stable couple who was always there but we didn't really get any information on until the end (sorry  mind the pun) their love story is one for the ages it tells of a abused and beaten girl who takes beating so her brother doesn't have to, but then knight in not so shining armour comes to her rescue even if she doesn't want it. For Rock the choice is easy football or the woman of his dreams he gives up everything for Trish and in return he get a family and love and support. Then we skip into the future where they have adopted 3 children and it tells you of their lives as adults and its such a beautiful ending.
Then we have the Epilogues each book get is own ending in this unique way to end a series and holy crap i didn't understand the importance of the last two words in this book till i read the Rosemary Beach series also by Abbi Glines and then i clicked and i fangirled so hard what a way to end an amazing New Adult Series keep readers interested for future series.

Well that is all for now but i will be reviewing Abbi Glines newest book When I'm Back that comes out on June 30th 2015 (book #11 in the Rosemary Beach Series)

Until next time

Top 5 Wednesday - Debut Novels - 20th May 2015

So this week I actually had to do some research because i don't know what books are debut novels I don't really pay attention to it so let's get started ...

5. The Queen of the Tearling - Erika Johanson

This is a YA fantasy novel that was released in 2014 I only read it this month but it was amazing and a great set up for the rest of the trilogy it follows Kelsea who was exiled and in hiding all of her life because she couldn't take the throne till she was 19 and this book follows her journey as she undertakes the task of taking back her country.

This book was amazing and especially as a debut novel it was full of world building and there was no doubt in my mind that Veronica Roth is an amazing writer even if I didn't really like the rest of the series diverge.t was the first ever book I read in one sitting.

I didn't think when I first read this book that it was all that good in fact I really didn't like it but 're reading it last year I absolutely fell in love and realised how well written it was for a debut novel and her writing style I was amazing at how good it was.

Succubus blues is a adult urban fantasy novel about a female sex demon living in Seattle its an amazing book and it was the first adult novel I ever read and you should read it because it is really really good

I don't think this could have been left out if I tried because this is the epitome of debut novels and what they can do to an author's career this book got a generation reading and started a phenomenon that is still alive and kicked today. I think everybody should read this book at least once just to say you have.

May 2015 TBR

So I decided I need to kick my butt in gear and read a lot more since last month was a really bad month so I'm planning to read 18 books this month.(If you want to know more about a book click on the title and it will take you to the goodreads page)

First are the new releases

The Heir - Kiera Cass (SPOILERS)

Princess Eadlyn has grown up hearing endless stories about how her mother and father met. Twenty years ago, America Singer entered the Selection and won the heart of Prince Maxon—and they lived happily ever after. Eadlyn has always found their fairy-tale story romantic, but she has no interest in trying to repeat it. If it were up to her, she'd put off marriage for as long as possible.

But a princess's life is never entirely her own, and Eadlyn can't escape her very own Selection—no matter how fervently she protests.

Eadlyn doesn't expect her story to end in romance. But as the competition begins, one entry may just capture Eadlyn's heart, showing her all the possibilities that lie in front of her . . . and proving that finding her own happily ever after isn't as impossible as she's always thought.

The Novice - Taran Matharu

When blacksmith apprentice Fletcher discovers that he has the ability to summon demons from another world, he travels to Adept Military Academy. There the gifted are trained in the art of summoning. Fletcher is put through grueling training as a battlemage to fight in the Hominum Empire’s war against orcs. He must tread carefully while training alongside children of powerful nobles. The power hungry, those seeking alliances, and the fear of betrayal surround him. Fletcher finds himself caught in the middle of powerful forces, with only his demon Ignatius for help.

As the pieces on the board maneuver for supremacy, Fletcher must decide where his loyalties lie. The fate of an empire is in his hands. The Novice is the first in a trilogy about Fletcher, his demon Ignatius, and the war against the Orcs.

Beautiful Sacrifice - Jamie McGuire

Falyn Fairchild can walk away from anything. Having already left her car, her education, and even her parents, the daughter of the next governor of Colorado is back in her hometown, broke and waiting tables for the Bucksaw Café. After every shift, Falyn adds to her shoebox of cash, hoping to one day save enough to buy her a plane ticket to the only place she can find forgiveness: Eakins, Illinois.

The moment Taylor Maddox is seated in Falyn’s section at the Bucksaw, she knows he’s trouble. Taylor is charming, breaks promises, and gorgeous even when covered in filth—making him everything Falyn believes a hotshot firefighter to be. Falyn isn’t interested in becoming another statistic, and for a Maddox boy, a disinterested girl is the ultimate challenge.

Once Falyn learns where Taylor calls home, everything changes. In the end, Maddox persistence is met with Falyn’s talent for leaving, and for the first time, Taylor may be the one to get burned.

Nothing but Shadows - Cassandra Clare

Simon challenges the setup of the Shadowhunter Academy and in doing so learns the story of James Herondale and Matthew Fairchild and the unusual way that they became friends and parabatai.

My TBR Challenge for this month is to star and Complete a series

The Fellowship of the Ring - J R R Tolkien

One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

In ancient times the Rings of Power were crafted by the Elven-smiths, and Sauron, the Dark Lord, forged the One Ring, filling it with his own power so that he could rule all others. But the One Ring was taken from him, and though he sought it throughout Middle-earth, it remained lost to him. After many ages it fell into the hands of Bilbo Baggins, as told inThe Hobbit. In a sleepy village in the Shire, young Frodo Baggins finds himself faced with an immense task, as his elderly cousin Bilbo entrusts the Ring to his care. Frodo must leave his home and make a perilous journey across Middle-earth to the Cracks of Doom, there to destroy the Ring and foil the Dark Lord in his evil purpose.

The Two Towers - J R R Tolkien

One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

Frodo and his Companions of the Ring have been beset by danger during their quest to prevent the Ruling Ring from falling into the hands of the Dark Lord by destroying it in the Cracks of Doom. They have lost the wizard, Gandalf, in a battle in the Mines of Moria. And Boromir, seduced by the power of the Ring, tried to seize it by force. While Frodo and Sam made their escape, the rest of the company was attacked by Orcs. Now they continue the journey alone down the great River Anduin—alone, that is, save for the mysterious creeping figure that follows wherever they go
.

The Return of the king - J R R Tolkien

One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

As the Shadow of Mordor grows across the land, the Companions of the Ring have become involved in separate adventures. Aragorn, revealed as the hidden heir of the ancient Kings of the West, has joined with the Riders of Rohan against the forces of Isengard, and takes part in the desperate victory of the Hornburg. Merry and Pippin, captured by Orcs, escape into Fangorn Forest and there encounter the Ents. Gandalf has miraculously returned and defeated the evil wizard, Saruman. Sam has left his master for dead after a battle with the giant spider, Shelob; but Frodo is still alive—now in the foul hands of the Orcs. And all the while the armies of the Dark Lord are massing as the One Ring draws ever nearer to the Cracks of Doom.

Now onto the rest

The Hobbit - J R R Tolkien

Bilbo Baggins is a hobbit who enjoys a comfortable, unambitious life, rarely travelling further than the pantry of his hobbit-hole in Bag End. But his contentment is disturbed when the wizard, Gandalf, and a company of thirteen dwarves arrive on his doorstep one day to whisk him away on an unexpected journey ‘there and back again’. They have a plot to raid the treasure hoard of Smaug the Magnificent, a large and very dangerous dragon…

Othello - William Shakespeare

If anything, Othello has increased its stature as one of Shakespeare's greatest tragedies ever since it was first written, between 1603 and 1604, due to the victimisation suffered by its tragic hero, Othello, as a result of his skin colour. Othello is a "noble Moor", a North African Muslim who has converted to Christianity and is deemed one of the Venetian state's most reliable soldiers. However, his ensign Iago harbours an obscure hatred against his general, and when Othello secretly marries the beautiful daughter of the Venetian senator Brabanzio, Iago begins his subtle campaign of vilification, which will inevitably lead to the deaths of more than just Othello and Desdemona.

Gone Girl - Gillian Flynn

Who are you?
What have we done to each other?

These are the questions Nick Dunne finds himself asking on the morning of his fifth wedding anniversary, when his wife Amy suddenly disappears. The police suspect Nick. Amy's friends reveal that she was afraid of him, that she kept secrets from him. He swears it isn't true. A police examination of his computer shows strange searches. He says they weren't made by him. And then there are the persistent calls on his mobile phone.

So what did happen to Nick's beautiful wife?

The Carrie Diaries - Candace Bushnell

Before Carrie Bradshaw became the queen of the New York City social scene, she was a regular girl growing up in the suburbs of Connecticut. How did she turn into one of the most-read social observers of our generation? This book opens in Carrie's senior year of high school.

The Chronicles of Narnia - C S Lewis

The Chronicles of Narnia, by C.S. Lewis, is one of the very few sets of books that should be read three times: in childhood, early adulthood, and late in life. In brief, four children travel repeatedly to a world in which they are far more than mere children and everything is far more than it seems. Richly told, populated with fascinating characters, perfectly realized in detail of world and pacing of plot, and profoundly allegorical, the story is infused throughout with the timeless issues of good and evil, faith and hope. This boxed set edition includes all seven volumes

Dark Inside - Jeyn Roberts

Since the beginning of mankind, civilizations have fallen: the Romans, the Greeks, the Aztecs...and now us. Huge earthquakes rock the world. Cities are destroyed. But something even more awful is happening: An ancient evil has been unleashed, and it's turning everyday people into hunters, killers, and crazies. This is the world Mason, Aries, Clementine, and Michael are living in--or rather, trying to survive. Each is fleeing unspeakable horror, from murderous chaos to brutal natural disasters, and each is traveling the same road in a world gone mad. Amid the throes of the apocalypse and clinging to love and meaning wherever it can be found, these four teens are on a journey into the heart of darkness--and to find each other and a place of safety.

Dorothy must die - Danielle Paige

I didn't ask for any of this. I didn't ask to be some kind of hero.

But when your whole life gets swept up by a tornado - taking you with it - you have no choice but to go along, you know?

Sure, I've read the books. I've seen the movies. I know the song about the rainbow and the happy little bluebirds. But I never expected Oz to look like this. To be a place where Good Witches can't be trusted, Wicked Witches may just be the good guys, and winged monkeys can be executed for acts of rebellion. There's still a yellow brick road - but even that's crumbling.

What happened? Dorothy.

They say she found a way to come back to Oz. They say she seized power and the power went to her head. And now no one is safe.

My name is Amy Gumm - and I'm the other girl from Kansas.

I've been recruited by the Revolutionary Order of the Wicked.

I've been trained to fight.

And I have a mission

When I'm gone - Abbi Glines

I had an urge to fix all her problems. Which was stupid. She was doing fine without me. But something about those big eyes…

Mase Colt-Manning has always preferred his humble life as a Texas rancher to his birthright as the son of a legendary rock star. In fact, he rarely visits his father’s rarefied world in Rosemary Beach, especially if it means bunking at his vile half-sister Nan’s house—until one visit leads to a chance encounter with a young, gorgeous house maid who awakens him with her off-key but spirited imitation of a country music star…

Reese Ellis finally has her freedom. After escaping a lifetime of abuse from her parents and classmates for an undiagnosed learning disorder, she seizes the opportunity to be a house maid to some of the richest families in Rosemary Beach. But her job is in jeopardy when she causes an accident at the home of her most important client, Nan Dillon. When a hot, half-naked stranger with a cowboy’s swagger comes to her rescue, she’s intrigued—then afraid once he shows his own interest. Reese has never met a trustworthy man in her life. Will Mase be any different?

The Whitechapel Fiend - Cassandra Clare

Simon learns the truth behind the Jack the Ripper murders—“Jack” was stopped by Will Herondale, his former parabatai, and his institute of Victorian Shadowhunters.
