Anne Neville is one of the most eligible women in England half the heiress to the mothers fortune and the Neville name, but like many woman in her time she is am pawn for her fathers gain married off to a boy she has thought of as an enemy to her family her entire life and left to the mercy of The Bad Queen, Margaret of Anju, she has to fight for herself because no one else will do it but when her husband is killed she is left in the hands of her sister and his husband who wish for her inheritance, can the only man she has ever loved save her(if you know history, you know the answer). This story is about a woman's fight for her rights her life and her freedom. Anne is such a strong character for she she goes through and still manages to survive. The supporting characters bring so much, and the emotion is so real you can feel the pain and the happiness of each character.

My thoughts on this book are not as mixed as i originally thought they were going to be, i have read one other book in Anne's POV (The Kingmakers Daughter - Philippa Gregory) and i really didn't like her character at all but it really does like it says on the cover "out does even Philippa Gregory" the characters the scenes they just pulled me in and i wanted more and more i fell in love with O'Brien last month and i am in the process of buying all of her books because they are so good and addicting. I loved this book and feel like i should recommend it to everyone, but historical fiction is not every ones cup of tea it is a particular taste especially this time period because it is set during a civil war so there are aspects of that in ti as well.

Until Next Time
Happy Reading
